The transition was smooth, but there doesn't seem to be any automatic redirection happening. I had the impression that reader software (like google reader) would somehow redirect the feed automatically.
Right now, the new URL is giving me a 404 error.
I've moved my own blog some as well in the past using a permanent redirect (302) for both the blog URL and the URL of the RSS feed. Google Reader picked that up alright.
Though I have to admit that I didn't check whether it updated my subscription or whether it just kept following the redirect over and over :P
